Heysham Community and Sports Facilities building is a mixed-use development containing a Main Hall, Gymnasium, Changing facilities and a small Meeting Room.  The building links an Artificial Sports pitch and bowling greens providing the community-based facilities that had been lacking within the Heysham Mossgate development area.

Intended to be a sustainable development, the building utilises solar hot water panels and air source heat pumps to limit carbon emissions with high levels of natural daylighting to maintain comfortable internal spaces for the users.

The Main Hall is intended as a multi finction space hired for diverse events from exercise classes to wedding receptions
