Before training as an Architect at both Leicester and Birmingham Polytechnic Schools of Architecture, Brian trained as an Architectural Technician. He has worked in both the public and private sectors and joined the practice in 1991, was made an associate in 1998 and became a director in 2004.
Brian has extensive experience in a wide range of building types including healthcare and education and has additionally built a successful reputation in the retail and commercial sectors.
Brian has been instrumental in developing the practice quality management system and is passionate about providing the highest level of service for clients developing long lasting associations with key clients.
Outside work Brian is a governor of Sandgate Special School in Kendal, where he has been chair of both the Governing Body and the Building & Finance Committee. He also enjoys the great outdoors and loves wandering the Lakeland fells (and any other fells for that matter) as much as possible.

He is currently a Trustee of Kirkbie Kendal School, Kendal and a member of the Board of Trustee for Fairoak Housing Association, Kendal. He enjoys the great outdoors and loves wandering the Lakeland fells (and any other fells for that matter) as much as possible.

Peter trained as an Architect at Manchester University School of Architecture and has worked in both the public and private sectors in Preston and Manchester. Joining the practice when the Lancashire office was located in Lytham, he was appointed Associate in 1986, and became a Partner in 1989, later a director in 1998 when the practice became a limited company. He is currently the Finance Director.
Peter has extensive experience on large healthcare schemes, schools, private and public housing, and conservation projects. He is also a Incorporated Member of the Association for Project Safety.
Outside the office Peter has long maintained an interest in local history and the local architectural scene, serving as Secretary of the North Lancashire Society of Architects, a Branch of the RIBA. Peter has a keen interest in heritage work and is also a member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.
